The global event, which will this year commemorate the 194th birthday of the ‘Lady of the Lamp’ and founder of modern nursing, celebrates the dedication and hard work of nurses every year on May 12th. The International Council of Nurses commemorates this important day with the production and distribution of the International Nurses' Day (IND) Kit. The IND Kit 2014 contains educational and public information materials, for use by nurses everywhere with this year’s theme being; Nurses: A Force for Change – A vital resource for health.
