Two sectors from Entrust People were busy this week when they attended two industry events to further support their knowledge and expertise within their specialist industries.
On Wednesday the 9th of April, Fiona Reynolds and Susan Johnston from Entrust Healthcare People attended the RCN Jobs Bulletin Fair at the SECC in Glasgow. The healthcare specialists had a great day, meeting with lots of exhibitors and fellow delegates that were using the fair as an excellent opportunity to learn more about the industry and network with other healthcare professionals.
Fiona Reynolds, Resourcing Manager for Entrust Healthcare said, “It was a fantastic day out that was great for catching up with old and new faces. We were really interested and excited to hear about the range and wealth of job opportunities available. We look forward to going forth with many of the companies we met there, and building a good, strong working relationship together.”
On the same evening, Fiona Campbell and Samantha Leeman from Entrust IT People were attending the Aberdeen Young Professionals event, “Attract, Train, Retain – Pipeline to Success”. This event, which was opened by Fergus Ewing, the Minister for Energy, Enterprise and Tourism was an insightful evening with an excellent panel of industry experts and an interesting debate regarding the skills shortages in Oil and Gas.
Samantha Leeman, Senior Resourcing Consultant for Entrust IT People commented, “I thought it was a great evening with lots of food for thought. It was interesting to hear the different thoughts and solutions for the skill shortage and how other recruitment bodies; both agency and in-house, plan on addressing the increasing problem.”
