Technical Services Manager - IVD/Diagnostics

They are currently recruiting for a full time Technical Services Manager who comes with experience of working within the IVD/Diagnostic sector and you will provide excellent technical service from within the organisation and by providing field support to customers where required. The role is Global and will require regular travel to customer sites.

The work will consist of operating at various levels within the organisation and will mainly compose of interfacing with end user customers of the business and internally with Customer Services, Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing. Specifically:

  • Develop and implement a Technical Service and support policy for the entire organisation
  • Recruit and manage a team of technical service staff
  • Resolving technical enquiries from customers (healthcare professionals) where requested by customer services or sales.
  • Developing industry leading technical service solution, building state of the art tools into business framework
  • To enhance the reputation of the company at every opportunity when interacting with others.

About You

  • Degree or equivalent in a Science subject
  • Experience of technical service support for IVD products
  • Experience of Point of Care Tests.
  • Experience if Immunoassay products and small technical instrumentation.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP and CRM systems.
  • Experience of complaint handling within Quality systems framework
  • Training experience
  • Flexibility in working style to meet business needs.
  • Strong team worker
  • Commitment and drive required to work in a start- up business
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
