As a Search and Evaluation Associate you will join our clients Neuroscience R&D Group where you will take an entrepreneurial approach to helping the organisation deliver unmet medical needs.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Support the identification, evaluation and tracking projects of interest, and maintain accurate records of activity through use of in-house caseload management information systems 
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a strong communication network with the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area globally and within the sites colleagues working in Search and Evaluate roles in other Therapeutic Areas and with colleagues supporting External Innovation in Discovery Operations and Corporate Business Development (CBD).
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of an extensive network with healthcare innovators (e.g. academia, biotech, Venture Capital, peer pharma, government organisations), with the objective to identify and explore potential partnering and collaborative opportunities in alignment with corporate partnering priorities.
  • Participate with colleagues in external partnering calls and face to face meetings to support and enhance the company profile as a potential partner of choice.

 

Experience / Knowledge required:

  • Should have at least a B.Sc in a scientific discipline related to the pharmaceutical industry (Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, Biology etc)
  • Evidence of the strong interpersonal skills required to generate and maintain contacts with external partners to support identification and evaluation of new business opportunities, and to coordinate with Organisations team members both face to face and remotely
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Superior English communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong database and computer skills; detail focus
  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical business and drug development process
  • An awareness of industry trends and new areas of scientific development 
  • Fluency in another major European language would be an asset but is not required
