Location – Central Belt of Scotland

Do you have a degree within Materials Science and Industry experience? Are you looking for your next challenge?

Entrust are currently supporting an impressive, global organisation who are going through an impressive growth period in terms of organic and gathering even more opportunity than before on a global scale.

You will be joining our clients Global Centre of Excellence for Research and Development of plating chemistries working across Medical Device/Health, Automotive and Aerospace industries.

The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis and is based on their site in the Central belt of Scotland and you will be involved in the following:

  • You will assist with the Laboratory Instrumentation and Analytical Techniques including ICP, HPLC, IC, XRD, SEM/EDX, FT-IR
  • You will assist in the development of plating chemistries and processes with period of training given.

About You:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering OR Materials Science.
  • Work experience of working within a Research and Development Laboratory.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience of chromatography, spectroscopy and traditional analytical techniques.
  • Experience and knowledge within Electrochemistry
  •  Experience of working with ICP, HPLC, IC, XRD, SEM/EDX, FT-IR
  • Strong personal skills with ability to self-motivate, well organised and able to work individually and within a team.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and develop a career within a highly technical organisation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
