Entrust People have a fantastic Internal Environmental Sales opportunity available with a well-established, science led company that offers analytical testing and research services across multiple specialisms from their UKAS accredited, state of the art laboratories. The role is a full time, 12-month fixed term position to cover maternity leave. It is based in Manchester and there is a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and maximising client sales.

The role of Internal Sales is to drive new sales and deliver on the set sales targets through the development of new customer opportunities and account manage existing clients whilst maximising their spend with the business. The environmental aspect concentrates on the company’s environmental services department and thus, the role will focus on the clients and sales opportunities within this industry.

Key aspects of the role are:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and maximise their spend with the company
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to incoming enquiries
  • Confidently approach and attract new clients with a view to forming accounts from these interactions
  • Log all business activity on the CRM system and contribute to sales meetings and client visits when required
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Problem solve and provide solutions along with recommending further services to clients

We are looking for:

  • Previous sales and account management activity within the environmental testing sector would be preferable
  • Scientific based qualification would be advantageous
  • Inside sales experience within a fast paced, highly client focused environment
  • An enthusiastic, friendly and motivated individual that is confident with account management and contacting clients
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm and focused in an energetic and vibrant environment
