Job Title: Digital and Telesales Territory Manager

Entrust People are delighted to present a Digital and Telesales Territory Manager role with a well-known and market leading animal health pharmaceutical company. This role is a contract until the end of 2019 and it is home-based. Travel to the company’s Head Office will be required frequently.

Role Purpose:

To work closely with the marketing and customer experience teams to develop, implement and track the success of tools aimed at increasing our digital sales capabilities.

Key aspects of the role are:

  • Development of the company’s relationship with a defined list of accounts, with a view to growing their use of our portfolio and supporting them with appropriate tools and services.

  • Develop & maintain a good level of knowledge of the key prescription medicines & their related disease areas in order to educating customers on the product range.

  • Sales targets for defined accounts & brands, along with meeting minimum customer contact and frequency targets.

  • Maintenance of up-to-date call records using the company’s CRM system.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to give strategic input into digital and remote sales projects aligned to the company’s selling cycle.

  • Execute agreed projects through telemarketing, webinar and other platforms as appropriate. Record and track the success of these initiatives and provide feedback to the relevant stakeholders.

  • Strong collaboration with the field force, marketing and customer experience teams to deliver targets for new product launches, sales targets, & marketing campaigns.

  • Participation in internal sales meetings & team conference calls as needed, requiring occasional overnight travel.


We are looking for:

  • Proven sales experience in the companion animal sector and a strong understanding of the UK Animal health industry

  • Experience with product launches

  • Strong customer focussed and

  • Strong IT skills and familiar with CRM systems and digital sales platforms

  • Comfortable to work face to face and remotely

  • Ability to absorb product information and differentiate seamlessly between product portfolio when interacting with customers
